Should I do red or white, or both and what kind? What's the most popular kind of wine? This is so damn confusing!

If I do the wine favors, I was thinking a red. But a mix might be nice too!

I think you should do a red and a white... Pinot Grigio and Cabernet Sauvignon ( in my experience, those are usually the two that restaurants choose for house wine) and that way guests can trade if they'd rather red or white

Re: What wine should I pick for a wine favor?
Do a red and a white. Cabernet sauvingon is kinda heavy. But I guess if you like reds then you like it. Pinot noir is really good, and a bit lighter. I think most people like pinot grigio. But a chardonnay that's done half in steel and half in oak isn't too light or too heavy so that should appeal to a lot of people too. Pindar makes 4 really inexpensive wines, one for each season, that are really mild and made for a wide range of palates. Liquor stores sell them much cheaper than the vineyard, but if you are getting a ton of them the bulk discount might be better from the vineyard.

i think the time of year red is probably better since its more of a fall winter wine but i agree with another poster you could order both red and white, people can always trade with the person next to them lol

Re: What wine should I pick for a wine favor?
I went to a wedding where they had both red and white. And at the end people just ended up switching with other guests if they didn't like their flavor.
