What would be your take on this

What would be your take on this

I have a friend that I know since about the 5th grade. We were close. then she moved upstate. We would call each other then the calls on her end were real seldom. Then I was the only one calling. I called her to say I was engaged, then 2 weeks later she calls me to say she got engaged. She never told me that she was seeing anyone. When she mailed me a b-day card, she asked me in the card to be a bridesmaid. I had 3 weeks to give her an answer. The colors and dresses were picked out. I had to turn her down since it was so soon after my sister's wedding. I couldn't go to her wedding since it was out of town and fh was out of work. I get her response card back, she declined. Do you think she declined since I didn't go to hers? For her wedding, there wasn't any rooms blocked.

What do you think

that's what i thought. she knew fh was out of work. to me, putting food on the table was more important. what hurts a little more, my sister had to call her to see if she was coming to the shower

She asked you in a card to be a BM?

Well...I agree... I think she declined because you did. Just have to think that she wants to 'get back at you' and not attend your wedding.

believe me, I know how you feel.

I was MOH for my 'friend' many yrs ago. I spent a TON of money on her wedding. she moved to GA last yr and now tells me that she might not be able to come to my wedding b/c it's too expensive

all I know is this...if she's not at my wedding, she can lose my #.
