your bridal shower at a restaurant or at someones or you house?
i just feel like in a restaurant u are rushed...i like backyard parties
what do you think?

I think you should do what you like!! I told my bm that I wanted it in restaurant, but I would really like it on a boat. I don't think they can afford that! Maybe I'll have my rehearsal dinner on a boat!

I would like it in a restaurant...I feel the BP, my mom and FMIL have enough to do without serving and cleaning up

I have made 3 showers in my mothers house. It is big enough and to me it is nice to start the collection of items for your home IN a home. I feel more comfortable and less rushed there. I told my BP that I would be happy with bagels and cream cheese with OJ and a pot of coffee in my mom's finished basement. Unfortunately, she has water damage and can't host a shower there. My brother's house would be ideal but it is in Rockland County and too far for most of my guests. Two bridges to cross is too much to ask. If my wedding were in the spring or summer, we could have it outside at Mom's but that won't happen.

I feel the same way my sis was originally going to do it at a restaurant and then asked my opinion I said her house its more personable and fun not as 'scheduled' JMO

House.... by far.... you don't get rushed out... it is more relaxing... just make sure they have AC in the summer!!!!
