I think all of us should take a peek inside the 06 board to read words of wisdom from those brides that've already walked the plank. I really found it interesting!! Hope you do too!!
I would of gotten a sample CP made! (living out of state made that hard)
Would of took 2 ppl out of my BP!!!!!!
Got the girls a diff dress...I liked the dress and when I ordered it I was happy..but after time and looking at more I would of went w. a different 1!
Wish I would of had more time to shop for my dress....I did love my dress it had alot of what I wanted. BUT now I see soooo much more out there!!!

i mentioned in the other one on the o6 board, but i would have changed my videographer...and gotten a few pic of my hair. i kept my veil on alll day and you can't really see how pretty my hair was!
besides that i can't think of anything. but i'm sure if ppl start posting, i'll be like 'i wish i had changed that too!'
i guess i can say (and it's always said) that i wish i hadn't gotten so damn stressed in the weeks and months leading up to the wedding. i look back at it now and realize it was all such a wasted emotion stressing over little things. but at least i didn't stress on the big day

what happened with your photographer alana? i know you weren't 100% with your pics, but was it cause of the company itself? did they not do a good job? who did you use from them?

I would have taken people out of the wedding and added some others instead.
I would have loved to do more with the wedding planning BUT being in Korea didn't help...so I would change being in Korea

We used Woo...i wasnt happy with my epics so that should of been a big hint for me to call and change...but I didnt!! I think the other teams def do a better job. I think Woo also knows what hes doing but hes just not the creative type and any of the must takes werent taken! Well VERY few!
When I went into Duet I did express how I felt...but they didnt seem to care much. They got my 5k at that point.
I dont mean too bash them bc I do love their work..unfortunately I didnt love many of my pics! Now my issue is finding 80 pics I want in my album!!!!!

As of now all i would change is the date...When i picked 7-7-07 it was in May of 05 and never thought of it as lucky 7's or anything of that nature. I thought that FH could never forget an anniversary. If I would have known then that it is the most popular wedding date around due to the whole lucky 7's thing I would have never picked it. I dont want people thinking that i picked it because its the most popular date.

so sorry to hear! i don't think you are 'bashing' them at all. if you don't like your pics, you are allowed to express that! i hope you can find some to put in an album. i also hope that one day you can post them online when you're not as upset at the company....i would love to see some of your pro pics!

Seriously. I'm just feeling kinda frustrated right now... we can't have everyone we want there, but it's going to be big enough that people will get their feelings hurt. plus, as much as I've grown to like you li ladies, having the wedding out there in smithtown is kind of a pain in the butt when I'm from freshchester, FW is from Dallas, and most of our friends live in the city. Plus, who's invited to the rehearsal dinner, who wants to bring their kids, blah blah blah.

I would have used a different invitation vendor.

I guess I could say this now cuz I already regret it- I'd have friends in my BP, not just family. I'd order my dress from Bridal Elegance and save $200!! I'd have booked church first, then reception so I could be getting married at the church I grew up in, where I also went to Catholic school. If I did it the right way, maybe Duet would have been available on that date. Then I wouldn't have booked with my original photographer and lost half my deposit so I could get Duet once they were available again!

What I can say is I wouldnt of Picked a family member to be my bridesmaid to save face, she was thrilled and no has caused me nothing but pain and agony over my brothers fiancee not being in the bridal party, I mean come on now girls, she is 42, had her wedding over 20 years ago and NO I WAS NOT IN HER PARTY, WHY DOES SHE THINK SHE CAN PICK MINE AND NOW PICK THIS TIME NOT TO TALK TO ME AT ALL, HOW RUDE, EASTER SUNDAY SHE DIDNT EVEN SAY HELLO TO ME AT BRUNCH WITH OUR FAMILIES......OH HOW I WISH I COULD DEEP SIX HER OUT OF MY BRIDAL PARTY BUT CANT DUE TO MY BROTHER AND NIECES WHO ARE IN THE PARTY, I DONT WANT A PROBLEM.....
