What would you consider the best stroller is and best mattress for my needs.
So I'm buying a new stroller for my daughter who's seven months now because the one that I have Eddie Bauer is good but too bulky and heavy. So basically I need a lightweight stroller that is not heavy or bulky but comfortable for her, because I live outside of nyc but I use the subway a lot. Also I need a good mattress as well. If you can help, I greatly appreciate it.

I don't know if you need something that is a whole travel system or not. But the metrolyte is very light and nice. I got one that was heavier than that, even though people told me it's heavy and I won't like it but the metrolite was our second choice I believe it's only 14lbs. I really liked it!

Thanks Jamie, I don't need a whole travel system since we don't drive, just the stroller. What brand is the metrolyte?

Maclaren makes excellent lightweight strollers. I have a Chicco London stroller and I love it.

I have the Peg Perego Pliko P3 (bought it based upon several recommendations). It is a full-size stroller, but very lightweight and the best part is it is easy to fold and carry - just like an umbrella stroller. I haven't used it yet as I am still six months away from my due date, but everyone I know who has one raves about it.
