What would you do?

I received a bill for 225.00 that I thought was paid for Childrens Place. I can swear this bill was piad off. I call the # and they have no info, and give me another # to call. This happened three times. Nobody can give me a history. I just want a history of my account. Nobody has it. What do I do now. Go to the store I shopped at? Would they have a record? I called the credit card they say they dont. How can that be? Arent they suppose to have it? How long are they suppose to have records for? I wish this day would end.

I am so pee ode right now

Re: What would you do?

A lot of stores have credit cards through finance companies so the records may not be available at the store. I would try customer service and keep asking for supervisors until you have someone that can give you copies of the bills.

Do you have the cancelled checks? That would prove payment.

I can not find anything for this. I am willing to pay but I can swear it was paid off.

Re: What would you do?

if you paid by check.. depending on your bank you may just be able to look up a copy of the check online.

call customer service and keep talking to supervisors.. they have to have a record of it somewhere. how can they say you didn't pay if they don't keep records and have no record of you ever paying? that doesn't make sense. somewhere there is a copy of the payments.
