What would you do?

If FH gave you a necklace as a wedding present,
and you really didnt like it,
But when he gave it to you, He said

I bought this for you, It is our circle
of Love and the 3 diamonds are for
our past , present and future.
When i saw it, i knew it was perfect.

Now would you be honest and
tell him you didnt like it, or would
you wear it because it meant
something to him?

ETA: To try to make smaller, sorry dont know why it is so big

serously I would wear it - he is very sweet - don't get caught up in if it is nice or matches or how it looks - the wedding is about your love - don't hurt his feelings

I agree. I would wear it and be proud of the love it represents from him.

i completely agree - it sounds like he put alot of love and thought into it. I am usually very honest with my DH when it comes to gifts, but if something was presented in that way, it is a different kind of gift, and I know it would grown on me bacause of the significance.

I would let it go, I have many things FH gave me and I wasnt to crazy about, but because he gave it to me I wear it and it grows on you

I would not tell him and i would wear it, since it was presented in such a loving, meaningful way.

but if you really dont want to wear it then i would tell him that it doesnt match wedding gown/ensemble and you will wear it at RD and on honeymoon

thanks girls, after reading all of your replys, im not going to say anything to him. i really dont want to hurt his feelings, and it did mean alot to him, So as you all said, what it meant is more important than what it looks like. Im going to ask first if i can wear it on my garter as someone posted, if he really wants me to wear it on my neck i will. Thanks again girls.

I think it's really pretty and obviously important to him. I guess it depends on how much you dislike it and if it matches w/ your dress.

You know i wasnt really thinking about it matching, i was thinking i really didnt like it at all in general, but i know if i tell him, i will feel so horrible. I dont want want to hurt his feelings, especially with the wedding only 3 days away.
