I want to go to Jamaica a Sandals resort BUT we have not yet booked. It is either go out of JFK (head ach coming back)can save about 300.00 non-stop flight. Or out of McArthur (no head ach)BUT connecting flight (possible head ach)and do not save the 300.00. what would you do???

Save the $300. You can use those blue airport van shuttles for @ $40 to get you home from the airport.

I fly out of JFK whenever I can...so not a headache (and I've been to Jamaica) plus it's non-stop and you save money. A no brainer in my book.

Definitely JFK. I never have a problem flying out of there. Just think, you can use the $$ you're saving for HM extras.

We live in Smithtown, and even though McArthur is about 10 minutes from us, we're flying out of JFK for our Vegas trip and our HM.
We might park the car at the LIRR and take that to the Air Train to JFK or just park the car at the airport.

i would do anything to avoid a connecting flight. i would even pay 300 more for it!! IMO go with JFK

I love flying out of Macarthur whenever I can. It's so easy, the long term parking is cheap too-or you could do a shuttle from LIRR. It depends on where you are coming from though. My family lives right around that area.

i always fly out of jfk. the lirr's air train is convenient and comes often enough that i never have to worry about missing a flight. i would save the $300 and avoid a connecting flight.

I unfortunely don't go flying much, okay only twice in my whole life, onces as an infant. But I would imagine that although the ride home will stink, switching planes stinks more. I would just suck it up and go to JFK.
