One of my groomsmen's fiances is pregnant. She is due two weeks after my wedding and has already decided that she will not be attending our wedding. She has also made comments about how he better get home if she goes into labor that day. I completly understand this and wouldn't except anything less. I am fine w/ it. The problem is that the groomsmen has already made comments about the problems he will have finding transportation if that be the case and he has also mentioned all of the what if's that come along w/ it. Let's also add that the pregnant fiance is not the most pleasant of ppl. If she's not ,one up on someone or it's not about her, then she doesn't want to know.
Anyway back to my vent. I told FH that I feel that the groomsmen is trying to hint the possibility that he won't be there. I think that he should talk to him before it's too late. I also told him that if he can't be there and he wants to ask someone else he should talk to him soon so that we can give someone else enough time. FH doesn't feel that is going to be the case. Do you think I should continue to stress my concern or just let it go and see what happens??

Re: What would you do
I would have your FH talk to him. My friend who I was going to ask to be in my BP-is going to start trying to get pregnant and she hinted before I asked her that she may be pregnant-so glad she did this. We talked and agreed it would be a PIA for her if she was preggos. It's best for him to ask now.

I think you're probably right. You should tell the groomsman that you'd feel much better knowing he was available for his fiance, should she go into labor that day.

I think your FH should talk to him. You'd hate for there to be a problem the day of your wedding. Best to get this straightened out now
