what would you do?

I have 4 BM... i am letting them choose their own tops. I would like them to look similar though... either all straps or strapless. 3 of the girls got their dresses, and all bought straps.... the 4th girl wants a strapless dress... should I let her?

I have 6 BMs. They are all wearing different tops with V-necks. I picked out 10 tops in advance and told them to pick from those 10. The only person wearing the strapless is the MOH.
A lot of BMs don't get any say in their dresses at all and you are being so cool that you are letting your girls choose.
Personally, I would tell the other BM your vision for the wedding and ask her to choose from the strapped designs.
Don't make the strapless an option for her...clearly, you would prefer it if she chose a top with straps so the looks are unique but coordinated.

i think all should wear straps...if she was your MOH i can see doing diff!

I would tell her it needs to have straps. I was in a similar situation with my girls. I told them the design, color, length and no boobie . I let them each pick their own dress but said I wanted them all to wear the same material, I didn't care what it was but it needed to be the same. Two girls picked their dresses and one wanted a different material. I had to tell her no, please pick another dress. She understood but just had to ask...

I told my girls to pick any top from the collection. They were so appreciative of the choice that it was worth doing that. They've told other people how cool it was and how un-demanding of me. I didn't want a picture of a group of clones anyway.

thanks ladies...
My MOH will be wearing straps, and the other 2 girls that have bought their dress also have straps. It is the last BM who really wants to wear strapless that is giving me a hard time.
