If a bride on here found out you could do something nice for other people. Asked for your help, in an odd way. Then you take time out of your day, do something for someone and get no response, no thank you, nothing? Even if the person didn't love it, still nothing. Wouldn't you say 'Thanks for the effort, I looking for something else.' Don't know why this is bothering me, but it is. So w/o flaming, I was just wondering how you girls would feel? TIA

Re: What would you do?
Sorry about that. I can see that you are always trying to help others. All it takes is 1 minute to reply. I just don't get people. I would probably FM her and tell her. I would be very aggravated also.

I would be a little mad too, it only takes a minute to write an email.

I think its ok to feel a little annoyed. It's just common curtosy to thank someone if they do something for you - whether you like it or not.

some people are just basically inconsiderate and have no manners just know that YOU are a good person

I think it's a little late for the FM after this post...
I understand that you're aggravated, though. Some people just don't think.

Re: What would you do?
Something similar happened to me too - I was really peeved but I didn't say anything because, well, what's the point in the end? Even if you try to say it nicely, it might not be perceived that way.
Sorry you're going through that! People can be inconsiderate. Hopefully it's just a case of the person not having checked the message or having temporarily forgotten to thank you.

Not the first time this has happened . . . won't be the last. Some people just don't know enough to say thank you.

Just alittle appreciation is all anyone asks for their efforts. Sometimes though people get caught up in other things and it seems like forever for us but I've found some do get back to you. So I hope the same respect is shown to you. Has it been awhile?

Re: What would you do?
I think its kinda rude not to say anything at all, esp bc you took the time and went out of your way to help when you didnt have to. of course, from the other side, she probably felt bad and preferred just not responding over possibly offending you, but really all it would have taken was a 'thanks so much, but I was looking for____' or 'Im gonna work on it from here' or 'can you change____.'
All I have to say is Ryan, you helped me before and you did an AMAZING job!!!!!!!!!!! And I wouldve jumped through the screen to give you !
ETA: HOWEVER, It would not bother me much if I responded to give someone vendor info and they didnt get around to replying back w/ a thank you. I always think its nice when ppl do that and I try to always email a thanks back but i try to understand other ppl may be busy or whatever. i dont take that personally.
I also personally would just drop it, instead of FMing her to say something. Its not even worth it. Esp bc Im sure shes seen this thread! JMO!

I agree, that i can be annoying. But after posting this thread i think it'd be a little late to FM her. I'm sure she feels bad and if not she may not even realize it's about her.
I always try to reply back when people offer me help or advice, but sometimes i just get so overwhelmed that i'm sure i've missed a few here and there.
I always say... it's nice to get a thank you or recognition, but i didnt help them b/c i wanted recognition. so if i don't get it oh well, and if i do, that's just icing on the cake.

Re: What would you do?
Some people are just self centered...this person needed or wanted your help, got it and then walked away...very messed up...
If this was simply vendor information, I would forget it.
If it was creative help, like a monogram or something of that nature, I would still FM despite this post...some people just don't get it and she may not even understand that it is about her...
