what would you do?

My FH's niece is our FG. Her mother my FSIL and I have very different styles. I feel like I have compromised on a lot of regarding the FG dress. I wanted more princessey and she wanted more plain. WE ended up with the plain dress. Well I said to FSIL that I wanted FG hair curled for the day of, and FSIL said that sounds good. Well FBIL opened his mouth and said he liked my FN future niece's hair the way she wears it everyday, so now FSIL said I think I will just do her hair the way I do it everyday.... this is not just any day!
Then she went out and bought her pearlized leather shoes that are alright but not my style I just wanted a simple satin shoe with a strap she is only 3.
Well now I am at FH's house and FMIL says FSIL bought a clip and FSIL's mother hot glued navy rose buds on the clip ( yes girls 1988 style) so now I have had a enough. I am pretty laid back about a lot of things but I don't want her wearing some cheesy clip. So I was thinking about buying her a crystal headband or tiara...do you think it would be inappropriate? And do you think I am crazy and should just let it be!!!
FSIL is plain country style and I am more sophisticated classy style.

I dont think your crazy I would buy the crystal headband or tiara, your FSIL had alot of say in this FG thing so now its your turn to put your touch into it , besides it is your wedding and you are aloud to put your own style into it. Good Luck

FSIL thinks that her daughter is wearing HER tiara to my wedding .. . . yes HER BRIDAL TIARA THAT SHE WORE ON HER WEDDING DAY yes an ADULT CROWN

so i wrote out this whole cute bridal party newsletter saying that i wanted the little girls to wear baby's breath or a PLAIN WHITE HEADBAND in their hair

she gets the newsletter - says oh thats nice
AND STILL TALKS ABOUT THE PRINCESS CROWN TIARA THING that she thinks her daughter will wear



i am going to ATTEMPT to buy white headbands for the girls and see if THAT hint works
geez.
