if you have 2 interviews set up with the same company (for 2 totally different departments)... should you let your interviewers know about the other interview or not?
sorry I know this is a dumb question (and probably has a very obvious answer lol) but I have no clue - never been faced with this situation before...
TIA ladies!

Re: what would you do?
I wouldnt mention it- go on both and see which you like better- they also might already know- was it scheduled through HR?

if they flat out ask you if you are interviewing any place else, then yeah dont lie... if not, i'd say no! its not like you are doing aynthing wrong or lying to them!

Re: what would you do?
Yeah the HR people called me to set it up...
I just don't know if it's unethical not to tell them... I'm so clueless about this stuff lol

Re: what would you do?
I would let them know if they ask if you are close to anything. Just bc you dont want to run into them when you come back for the other interview that and sometimes HR lets departments know. (I know they do in my job)

Re: what would you do?
it might work in your favor to tell them, they'll see how interested you are with the company, but i could be totally wrong lol
good luck!

exactly- it happened to me at an interview at a school district on Long Island.
I interviewed for one in one subject area then as I was at that interview they called me to set up an interview for a sped position.
I went to the second one and prior to walking in, I didnt think I needed to tell anyone about the other interview. Well I was in for quite a shock when it was almost the same interview committee. They were shocked too but boy did I get grilled about which position I wanted.
So my advice- say something.

Re: what would you do?
I wouldn't bring it up, but if asked I wouldn't lie.
