A friend of mine of 25 yrs declined my offer to be a BM due to bad expereicnes supposedly in other weddigns and I guess she is tired of bridal parties. Ok i got over that but she constantly asks questions about things i think are BM territory for now like what are my colors, which dresses have i looked at and can she see pics, and other things that i can;t think of right now.
seems like she wants all the inside scoop on the wedding party but di dno want to be a prt of it. should i happily share or is it ok to hold back?

hmmm.....one way of getting out of telling her any details is just saying 'I'm not sure yet' she might get the hint after telling her that a few times

Yes, I do that a lot. But somethings you can share with her. I fill in my friends who aren't in the BP with somethings. It really depends on how secretive you want to be about your wedding plans. Some ideas I have, I don't even share it with my MOH, cause I want it to be a total surprise. It's all up to you.

Sounds to me like she is interested in your wedding BECAUSE she's your friend. My FH's best friend didn't want to be in our wedding either. It was nothing against us- he just didn't want to. I think you should let your guard down and not be too offended by her decline.

Was her reason for saying no solely based on past bad experiences? If so, as a friend that is unfair to you. She is assuming she will have another bad experience. Did you tell her you were hurt by her refusal to be a part of your BP?
I've had a few bad BP experiences, but I've never turned a friend down, I think it's an honor for someone to ask you to be in their BP.

I think depending upon how secretive you are I would just stick to I'm not sure yet. I'm not even telling my girls in my BP information until I have everything picked out for our first meet and greet!
