What would you do???

Ok.... so as most of you know by now I am planning from OOT. I am trying to book hair and makeup. My dilemma is I don't have time to do a trial and won't be able to for probably 6 months but I want to secure someone for my date so I am not stressed trying to find someone at the last minute since of course I want to look my best.

So what I found so far that will come to me and are available:

Mya - Cosmetic Artistry

M i a - b r i d a l l o u n g e

Jenn - Hair Genie & Oksana

The most affordable is Mya -Cosmetic Artistry (by about $300 for us)

The next most affordable of these 3 is Oksana and Hair Genie but I would also have to pay for 3 girls to get makeup in order to reach the 4 person minimum (I am already paying for hair for everyone. So this is going more above and beyond really)

M i a - B r i d a l l o u n g e _ I love the work I have seen and she does both hair and makeup... but she is only slightly less than Oksana & Jenn (but with Oksana that also includes makeup for 3 of my Bm's)

So what would you do???

UPDATE: So I wish I would have known this earlier but I just found out M I A from B R I D A L L O U N G E does not require a minimum for hair or makeup and will just do me.

So I am going to book her for me.

I already emailed my BM's though saying I would pay for their hair though.... UGH!!! I many just try to find someone who will come out to do hair for just the 5 BM's. I would rather have someone just for me and then have someone working on them. If anyone knows someone who will come out to do BM's hair at an affordable price let me know (about $70pp).

As far as makeup goes I love Oksana.... just not her 4 person minimum... that is what is killing me. I had hoped my girls would want and just pay for themselves since I am paying for all of their hair.... but they all said no!!! UGH!!!

I am trying to decide if I should just book with her anyway. I have 3 MOH's -my sisters so I can just get their makeup done for them along with me to get the 4 person minimum. More than I wanted to do though..

I like Mia's work but it ends being about the same price as Jenn & Oksana (while Jenn & Oksanas price will include makeup for 3 of my BM's). SO I think Mia is too much for me.

Mya love her hair trials can't tell about the makeup though....hmmm..

My problem is with the makeup since I am the only one getting makeup. I need to find someone that is good at both so I can meet the minimum most of them have or find someone good that will come out and just do makeup for me.

that is hard to pay for that many people, don't feel forced to do it.

What about checking out other vendors before decides, ones that might have everything you're looking for

I have been but no luck, yet. I will keep looking but I also don't want to my top ones to get booked while I am trying to make a decision.

Oh well... we will see.

hmmm have you looked at jacqueline nicole for make up, she does AMAZING work. I havent heard too many girls say much about her requiring a minimum, i might be wrong though so dont take my word for it.

ALso heard alot about the rock sisters

Nicole d'angio(sp?) does great work

ahhh theres so many great ones ive seen here, im drawing a blank though
