if a very ex-boyfriend (from over 15 years ago)wanted to friend you on facebook???? Would you ignore or accept and why?

Meh, why not? After all this time, I don't think it's a big deal to friend him. Plus it might be interesting to see how he's turned out and what he's up to, right?

I had the same thing happen and I friended him.
I knew he wasnt a stalker and it was nice to catch up.

Ignore... if you don't talk to him why now? Do you want him to know what is going on in your life. Plus my FH won't like it. He would respect it if thats what i wanted to do but not like it at all

Even if it was from 15 YEARS ago? If you had had no contact for 15 years, and he randomly friended you on Facebook, he'd be upset?
I feel like that's such a huge amount of time to elapse ... that it's more than ancient history at this point.

Seriously, I would want to know what he's doing (especially if he was a big part of my life). FH probably wouldn't like it any more than I would like it if an ex of his friended him....

I would probably ignore it. But I'm very selective w/the people I'm freinds with on facebook. I'm not one of those people who has 400+ friends. Everyone on my facebook is someone I know well-and for me that doesn't include old boyfriends. I guess you could accept it and delete him later if he turns out to be sketchy.

I think that depends on the nature of the breakup. Most likely things have totally become water under the bridge by now so why not....unless he was a psycho.

I ignore all exes... it's just easier than explaining to FH (if he ever asked) why I friended them... not to mention I don't really care what any of them are doing...

Thanks girls...I'm selective too and I don't need to have hundreds of friends on facebook lol. I guess I feel funny because I'm married and why bother talking to an ex-bf at this point...on the other hand I don't see the real harm...it's not like there's a spark there anymore or anything. It was a teenage boyfriend. But I don't think DH would like it any more than I would like it if the situation were reversed. So I'm not sure what I'm gonna do yet if anything lol!
