what would you do??

i am kind of a little annoyed with FH. i specifically told him to make sure he wanted to invite certain friends to the wedding before i sent out the STDs.

low & behold the other night he was complaining about two of the guys. so i turned around and said, 'Well they received the STD so they are invited.' he kinda just made a face.

i know we have time still to make a final decision but what would you do in this situation??

IMO.....when you send out the STD's you have to stick to it. No disinviting people....I would be insulted and upset if it happened to me.

I agree. Actually this happened to FH's aunt and uncle. They received an STD to a wedding and never got an invite. I would be appalled.

UGH!!
I kinda think that's my FH is dragging his heels with the whole STD thing. Those that were at the EParty got the date on their TYs which were attached to the favors. (too many favor hogs on his side).

Well we kinda have the same issue so i didn't send to all of FH co workers and the ones we did send asked the others if they got one so now we look bad...

I guess see how things go by the time it gets closer maybe they will forget lol

But i think if they got a STD you have to invite them IMO

From personal experience, Not everyone who gets an STD gets invited to the wedding. This happened to me: I got an STD a few months ago and even then I was iffy about going because my friend and I were quickly falling out of touch (and friendship) with each other. When I realized that I definitely would NOT go, I noticed it was about the time the invites should have gone out, but I never received one. I wasn't invited in the end, which was stupid because I definitely would have sent a gift but now she can lick my ***. haha sorry for the nastiness!

Don't worry about the STDs; if the friendships get really rocky, either they won't come if invited or they'll understand if they're not invited.

I would send an invite bc I think it is the 'right thing' to do

i think if they got the STD they should get an invite....plus theres still time for the wedding so things might get better with them before then.

i know when a friend of ours got married, she was in a similar situation. her & a friend had lost touch so she just didn't invite her.

i know my cousins have received STDs in the past & then ended up not being invited to the weddings & they didn't really mind.

oh well i guess i will wait it out before i make a final decision.

This is why I am not sending EVERYONE a save the date 00 just my definates. I think unless there is a major faqlling out, you need to invite those that got an STD

It would really be wrong to uninvite... hopeful your FH will be buddy-buddy with them again before the wedding comes!

ive had this happen to me, received a save the date and never received an invitation. We had a falling out, and stopped talking. ive had other friends have this happen to them as well.

i personally think its rude. and now that i am planning my own wedding, i will be careful who i send them out to.

i believe that if they receive an std they get an invite

this is why were only sending invites to oot family and the bp..no friends/coworkers/parents friends are receiving them at all..we just really wanted to give a heads up to ppl who will need to buy plane tickets
