What would you do?

Well, as some may know from yesterday my HM plans were possibly in jeopardy.
Well, my gut instinct was right and the party I spoke of turned things into a free for all..ended up twisting & turning things/plans. So I am stuck at square one planning our HM all over again. It's so disappointing to have the people you think you can rely on make things even more complicated.

Okay so anyway..what do we do now? Our original HM was one week in Key West w/o my daughter while she stayed in FL with my Dad and his 'then' wife. The 2nd week all three of us would got o Disney World for our 'Familymoon'. Since Dad doesn't even know where he will be living in 9 months that's out. Now, we're thinking we'll have to do something here on the island for the 1st part of our HM and then leave with our daughter to go to Disney. Where should we stay here on the island?
(I hope I am making sense and not rambling....)

if price is an issue, its important to find a nice hotel for not alot of $

i would recommend looking into renting someones timeshare for the week...and dont limit yourself to LI...what about conneticut? i hear wonderful things about mystic (its close to casinos, beach, and newport (RI))

Or can you do something semi-local but off the island? Atlantic City? Niagara Falls? Philadelphia? DC?

honestly.. i woudlnt waste my money staying somewhere local. why not do a disney cruise?? u can still have your romatic dinners alone while she is in the kids club..and even go to other islands int hebahamas while shes at the kids club. so u get best of both worlds.. thennnn you can all go to disneyworld together?


the crusie will prob be cheaper than staying somewhere on long island for a week.
