What would you do?

What would you do?

If you booked with one vendor over another...and the other vendor emailed you as to why would you give them the real reason???

absolutely. They should know why you chose to go somewhere else.

I don't think it's the vendors business why you booked with someone else. You have every right to do so, and I would probably just ignore the email!

I think you could be honest without being rude.

I think saying 'I'm sorry, we've since booked with someone else. Thank you for your time and help.'

They asked for a specific reason you didn't book with them?

give me their #. lol I'm so blunt.

Honestly, maybe this can help them in the future. If it makes you too uncomfortable, then don't worry and don't call. They wont follow up.

Oh, I'll def be honest if I wasn't happy with their service! I look forward to those 'how did we do?' cards that you see at some restaurants.

Respond only if you want to, you don't owe them anything but I would reply because I would want to give them constructive criticism so they can improve their business. I like it when businesses want to know how they can improve.

Just say 'To be honest, I was not happy with the service I recieved. My phone calls were never returned and for that reason alone, I did not feel comfortable hiring your company (this is an example further elaborating your point). Thank you for reaching out to improve your business. Sincerely, christina '

Re: What would you do?

i guess they should know, but i feel weird telling them when they call me and ask. so i just say we booked with another vendor and say thanks for calling and don't give them a chance to ask why..

the photographer i chose not to book with asked me and i responded truthfully. she seemed appreciative that i answered. i think it helps them figure out what brides are looking for.

if you don't feel comfortable, by all means, you are not obligated to say anything. there's no harm in ignoring the email if it makes you feel uncomfortable.

I would be honest and tell them.
