Hi ladies....need advice. I was originally going to book hair and makeup with Cactus Salon...that fell through (as I mentioned in another post). I had sent out an email to my BMs asking who would like to have hair and makeup done, and I gave them prices ($75 for hair and $55 for makeup). Now I have fallen in love with Christy Ann Cosmetics...they have been super sweet and I am doing a trial with them soon. However...it is almost double the price I had originally told my BMs. I did tell them that I do not care if they want to do their own makeup, or get it done elsewhere...but is it wrong of me to book with Christy Ann? What would you do?

They thought it was an excellent price! It was by far the cheapest price I have heard. I wish I never gave them prices

I'm not sure I would be happy with paying almost double. But I would probably talk to them and see what they think.
Is there a minimum you have to meet? Would you meet it if none of you BM decided to do it?

I completely agree! That is why I am so torn I also have trials with Sandra Baldini and Makeup by Marisa (BMs makeup would be $65 with each). Hopefully I will end up loving the way one of them does my makeup!!

I would say only if you wanted the bridal party to do it - pay the difference - but if you gave the option - they can choose to pay or not HTH

I was thinking of that...but I have 7 ladies getting makeup done I think if I am this stressed and conflicted about it I should just not book with them. I'm sure sandra or marisa will be great. I emailed Christy Ann and canceled my trial.

as long as you tell them that they could use anyone else I dont see the problem with the price
thats what I am doing, whoever I book the girls have the option to go with whoever or themselves
Its your day and you have to love your hair since you are spending so much money on everything else.

I just read a bunch of wedding day reviews on sandra baldini and all brides had FABULOUS things to say about her!!!!!! I feel MUCH BETTER now and I am looking forward to my trial on the 13th
