Im having the grooms cake at wedding. we are already having the cake, an icecream roll, rolling out dessert cart (not sure with what yet), cookie trays and as guests walk out a popcorn cart (we met at a theatre)
we are inviting 144 hoping for about 120..how much would you get the cake to feed, i want it to be big enough, but dont want to pay a fortune and have it be wasted. Thanks

Get whatever size cake you can afford/looks good to you, and then ask the bakery to provide you with an extra sheet cake to keep in the kitchen.

I would just get a cake that fits the design you want. With all those other dessert choices you won't need a cake to feed everyone

I plan to have a grooms cake too. The fun of it, is what it looks like. Aside from your FH, nobody cares if they get a slice of it, as long as they can see it.

This is true too! Unless its a yummy flavor then I'd want both wedding cake and groom cake if I was a guest!

Wow, thats a lot of sweets! I don't think it matters how big it is due to he fact that you have lots of deserts. Where are you getting it?

Sounds like you have plenty of desserts. Get a grooms cake that feeds $40-50

I am getting a grooms cake as well but between the wedding cake, ice cream bar, chocolate fountain, cookies and everything else if there isn't enough grooms cake for everyone I don't think people will even notice.
