don't know if anyone was listening. but yesterday a guy named Reese called in and said he was THIS close to proposing to his GF. but he felt that he needed to know all about her past...such as how many guys she's been with, did she cheat, what did she do, etc. he basically said that he didn't know if he could marry her without knowing the dirt. everyone at the zoo told him to get over it--and that her past is her past, and he is her future, etc. he ultimately agreed, and was gonna get over it.
well turns out that his GF Jennifer was LISTENING to the radio and recognized her BF's voice. she was FURIOUS about it, and actually went ahead and callled one of her BF's friends, and go all the dirt on HIM. (turns out he was a cheater before!!!) now it's HER that is unsure if she wants to be with him cause of HIS past! talk about irony! she e-mailed the zoo and told them all about it!!
can you imagine if you heard you man on the radio saying this stuff??

i have reached a point where the stories on z100 are sooo unbelievable that i just don't believe any of them anymore....it's very possible this was fake...i put nothing past those clowns...sorry...but with phone taps and what not, i just think they are doing anything to get people to stay tuned in...and really if they would just play some music and stop yapping, i might actually lift the ban on them in my car.

I think she is just as retarded as him.. they belong together. I wouldnt waste my time digging up someones pasts.. if u dont know what u need to know by the time u are ready for engagement, then keep it moving.

It would pretty much be over. If he couldn't talk to me about his questions/issues and had to resort to Elvis Duran and the 'Zoo Crew' for relationship insight, we would have more problems than mysterious past relationships. Additionally, if I had to go to his friends for my questions instead of him I would read the writing on the wall and END IT!

HOLY S**T I heard that yesterday morning and TOTALLY agreed with the Zoo. Everyone has a past but it does not dictate who they are now or how they will be with the person they are with now. I agreed with the zoo that the guy Reese was probably unsure of HIS past, not hers.
OMG I can't believe that she heard him and emailed the zoo. I wish I heard that!!!!!
That is why I would NEVER spill my problems on the radio - you never know who is listening!!!!!

I heard that yesterday and I heard they were going to follow up today but I wasn't in the car when they did. I figured if his gf heard that she wouldn't be too thrilled. I don't get why these people don't call and change their names! How many guys named Reese do you know? Seriously.

DH and I had a conversation about our pasts 6 years ago, we we're all informed.
I actually called a radio station and got on the air (WPLJ) years ago to weigh in my opinion about some NYC EMS paramedics who witnessed an armored truck losing money out the back. They returned the cash and I said I would have too (I was a paramedic at the time too).
I called my ambulance corps to tell them I was going to be on the air and one of the guys called up WPLJ, got on the air after me, and said he knew me and that I SO would NOT give back the money.
He actually turned out to be a DJ on 105.1 for a while. I used to call him up and mess with him for fun.

The zoo was right when they said, the past is the past and they need to focus on their future. That goes for both of them. If he cheated in the past, as long as it was not on her, she needs to get over it! JMO
