What would you do? Honeymoon dilemma...

As part of our honeymoon, my relatives in Italy offered for us to stay at their apartment in the town my great-grandparents came from for a few nights. We've booked our honeymoon many, many months ago so we accommodated for this.

Now my relative (distance cousin) says they are concerned about the weather for us and that of course, they want us to have a nice honeymoon. He is offering to find us hotel and pay for it either in Rome (where we are already spending the majority of the trip in 2 different hotels) or the town they currently live.

My dilemma:
1. I want to stay at the apartment despite the weather because I had some things in mind for us to do in the area and thought it would be more relaxing.
2. I don't want to take advantage of their hospitality since it is their apartment and maybe this is their nice way of saying they don't want us to stay there. (There are some other reasons like they want to sell the apartment but their relatives also live there and don't want them to sell it).
3. Frankly, we don't have the money budgeted to find and pay for additional accommodations.

So, what would you do???
