ETA: I'm sure he would find out before the wedding day. At least he would have time to be upset in private rather than have to confront them immediately with all the disappointment.

If it were me, I would probably not tell him. I wouldn't want his feelings to be hurt. if he finds out, let it be some other way.

Since you know I would probably tell him...That way when it is the actual wedding day he hopefully will have gotten all of the upsetness out of his system and won't be taken aback when he realizes the situation. Good Luck.
