What would you do if you were me, please help?!?! warning:long!
well ladies i swear as it gets closer and closer more and more things are going WRONG!!!! mostly with the details!! Especially the MENUS!!!!
So ive decided to DIY the menus, they are really detailed and are taking much longer then anticipated! but i LOVE all the little details and it means alot to me!
So anyway. Tuesday night i called the RH and gave them a heads up that i would be faxing over a cop of the menu so they could double check it (even thought i was coping DIRECTLY FROM THEIR MENU!) on the cover sheet it said, PLEASE CALL IF THERE ARE ANY PROBLEMS! So when i didnt hear from them i went a head and printed 150 of them. Last night SUNDAY at 10:30 PM mind you i get a phone call saying that there are some changes that need to be made.
Here is the menu and i will put the corrections and RH reasoning under.
Appetizer
Martini de Fritti
Martini Glass Rimmed With Coconut Shavings
And Filled With Pineapple, Cantaloupe,
Honeydew, Watermelon And Berries
Coated With Midori.
Insalata
Traditional Caesar Salad
With Croutons
Main Entrée
Choice Of One Of The Following
All Served With A Twice Baked Potato And Mixed
Vegetables.
Roasted Prime Ribs Of Beef
Served With Natural Au Jus
Grilled Norwegian Salmon
Served With Tomato Basil Salsa
Chicken Francaise
Chicken Breast With Traditional Wine,
Lemon & Butter Sauce
Dessert
Wedding Cake
Yellow Cake With Cannoli Filling Or
Chocolate Pudding Filling
Ice-Cream Sundae Bar
Ok so these are the changes and their reasoning
for the appetizer: they no longer put watermelon in it so that needs to be taken out (well no offense but i paid for what it SAID NOT TO BE CHANGED!!)
The salad should be called Classic not traditional b/c it SOUNDS BETTER! and 'you really should say with croutons' ( EVEN THOUGH IT CLEARLY STATES THAT IN THEIR MENU)
Entrees are fine but theres NO NEED TO TELL PEOPLE WHAT IT COMES WITH![]()

Dessert: 'you can not tell people that there are 2 types of filling because there just wont be enought' (ARE YOU KIDDING ME???![]()

i never stated that the people have a CHOICE OF, i clearly stated one of the other will be given, fight amoungst yourselves! ![]()
SO in conclusion i spent all this $$$ to print them and have them just about finished.. now they are making all these changes.. WHAT DO I DO????
DO i reprint and spend all that money and time REDOING WHAT I JUST DID??? or do i call them back and say look,.. noting i put in the menu is INCORRECT its exactly what i was TOLD by YOU that i was getting. and that they did not get back to me in a timely fashion and they need to be ok with that.
please he HONEST it wont hurt my feelings i really just dont know what to do.
