I have had aquatince for about 9 years now - we were never very close just a friend of a friend situation, a few months ago she was having trouble with her boyfriend and her friend said she should call me because I had similar problems in my past relationship...so we talked I tried to help we hung out a few times. During the times we hung out she always told me she had no money after we ate or ordered our drinks so I always ended up paying.
Additionaly she started hanging out with this girl I work with after meeting her at a happy hour with me which I thought was weird because I felt like she was using the girl to crash in Sullfolk when she was visiting this guy she was seeing. I now find out that she recently asked the girl I work with to loan her money even thought they dont know each other really from Adam...and my co-worker was freaked out. This girl also wanted me to pick her up the day after the blackout in BROOKLYN when there were still no street lights. I said that I couldnt and then she started crying and telling me she couldn sit home on a 'Friday Night'. I havent really talked to her after that I was really annoyed that she tried to manipulate me. Now she calls all the time - and hangs up on my answ. ?? She calls at 9am on the weekends leaves a mess then proceedes to call all day and hang up then she calls my work phone my cell phone and my FH cell phone as well.
Do you think this girl is a manipulative STALKER or just really lonely ?

She sounds a bit like a stalker. If she was just lonely I think she would leave messages, not call every phone you have and hang up. I would definetly advise the co-worker NOT to lend her any money, and I would cut any ties at all with her!

my co-worker was like I'm not giving her any money - so that was good ( I am pretty embarrassed that I introduced them though).
I really dont want anything to do with her anymore but I wanted to see if I was being ruthless ( I tend to do alittle too much house cleaning sometimes) or justified in my actions.

stalker or not, i think she has some serious emotional issues and doesn't sound healthy at all. i would suggest cutting ties with her, and warn your co-worker to do the same. you don't want to get in any situations that are dangerous.

uhmmm scary is the word that comes to my mind.


At first I thought of my Best Friend (MOH) she is always doing that to me.. I pay for EVERYTHING .. since High School. And she comes from Money so that gets a bit ridiculous after a while. I put it to her tho. Enough was enough. She says she was sorry and didn't realize. (whatever) all I know is she doesnt do that 'as' much anymore.

This woman tho sounds stalker scary.. get as far away as you can.

I agree with the other ladies too, cut all ties & if it has to come to it, you might want to change your phone #.

Sounds like someone that needs some professional help if this behavior is stemming from a bad relationship.

holy moley, she sounds like a stalker...a little too off balance and i would consider changing my number if she doesn't quit calling soon!

Thanks guys I neede that little boost especially after she just called and left a message AGAIN saying that she would try me at work tommorrow
and then called and hung up .....

I guess my phone number is getting CHANGED real soon.
