For some reason my bridal party put in my shpwer invite I am registered at Fortunoff's- I am not. Do I have to go register there now?
Fh's mom called this morning saying she went there- where was my registry.

i guess it wouldnt hurt to put a few things on there....... althought they shouldnt have said that if you werent registered there

why would they say that? that's odd. i don't think you should register somewhere simply becuse they said you did - can they send out another invitation or a memo of some sort to let everyone know where you actually are regitered? i know that might be a pain in the a$$, but it's a pretty big mistake to make and it can cause a lot of trouble for people!

I think I mentioned once that I might and they thought I did. They also put on the place I actually did register.

well if you have the other place then it might not be such a huge problem. i mean, when people go to one place and find nothing - they can go to the next! is it convenient for everyone???

No- fortunoffs is in garden city and we are in dix hills/huntington/commack area.
So if they hike to fortunoffs just for me and there is nothing (like fmil today) I will feel bad.

Can they tell the people when they call to RSVP 'Oh, by the way she is not registered at Fortunoff, but at XXX.' Would that work for you?

i understand.....i don't know what to do here. i wish there was some easy way you could revise the invite - but that's impossible! maybe you can go to fortunoff and see if there's anything there that you would like. then the problem would be solved! this is a tough one!!!

i would switch stuff from your current registry to fortunoff's if thats possible. it will make things a lot easier & avoid further confusion.
