Having it be a surprise, NOT in a chinese Buffet, having plenty of time to open presents cause I hate feeling rushed. Just being around my close friends and family! Hope no one spoils it for me!

I agree with it being a surprise. I guess most important is having everyone there, good fine and everybody having a good time

I think I want the location to be a surprise but not the date. My mom told me about her bridal shower...

One day my dad told my mom to hop in the car to run to the store w/ him. She hadn't showered, but he said it wouldn't matter bc they were just going to the store. 'The store' turned out to be her shower and it was the first time meeting his side of the family. How embarrassing! She swore she would never let that happen to me or my sis.

im not worried about that happening...for one my hair is THE WORST!!!!!!!!! so i never leave my house without showering and i trust FH to say were going somewhere that would make me think i have to dress up a little BUT even if not my mom and MOH said they will bring an outfit with them, dress and shoes for me just in case so i can change into it...plus anytime from January-march whenever ill go out on a sunday im gonna dress up

Also fh wouldnt ask me to go to the store well not like grocery or regular store, if he had to get something he would just go...he'll ask to go shopping like the mall or something so i'd be fixed up

well i know mine is not in a house...my MOH and MOM went to look at places and already booked it that much i know. A restaurant or catering hall is fine...i gave my MOH a couple of themes not sure what shes doing though...some are tea party, mad hatter party, sex and the city, spa party.

well especially january bc sunday is football day and fh and i stay in, eat food and watch football so i know if he said to go somewhere then something would be up lol.

i don't care about location, just as long as my close friends and family are there, we have good food, good drinks, and everyone has a fun time. oh, and LOTS of presents (JK!!!)

Lots of friends and family. A party where my Mom wouldn't have to cook and she can just relax. I don't like opening presents in front of people because I get nervous.
My friend had a tea party at Lady Mendl's salon in NYC. So dainty and cute with the petit fours and fingers sandwiches... However, I must admit, i was hungry afterwards. Then again, I can be a little pig..

surprise party definitely... very girlie and cute. preferably something casual and in someone's house

def a surprise tho ill prob figure it out because ill be a registry peeker so ill prob ruin the surprise for myself uhhh lol

ideally i wish that i wouldnt have to open presents in front of anyone bc i just hate doing that..tho i know that its tradition and ill do it anyway

i want to have all of those fun/cheesy games and shower things.. someone posted on here having a panty well, id like that lol..def play some toliet paper bride.. maybe get one of those towel cakes or candle basket
