I have a choice of either getting a chocolate fountain at the reception or having a second photographer that shoots all photojournalism for the entire day...What would you pick if you had to choose?

I had both....I think the photography is more important. The chocolate fountain is really for your guests. I think I had a marshmallow that was it.
Photojournalism!!! Pictures last longer than chocolate I love chocolate myself but the fountains kind of creep me out after i went to an event where the dirtiest guy kept sticking his fingers in and licking them and i was just picturing all the germs that could be getting recycled in the chocolate from his gross fingers JMO though!!!

it's not even a choice! 2ND photographer!!!
I just went to a wedding and I didn't even want to get near the chocolate fountain because I was afraid it might splash on me. lots of people loved it, but a 2nd photographer is MUCH better than a chocolate fountain!!!

I'm going with the second photographer because those pictures can last a lifetime. With all of the food I'm sure you are getting, the chocolate fountain probably isn't necessary. Good luck in making your decision!!
