What would you say to this?

My MOH is slacking on getting her dress. I asked all my girls to have their dress ordered by the end of April and she is the only one left to get it done. I asked her today when is she going to do this here is her reply :
Yes, I will. Don't panic. I have some time. And I have to have money. I will get it done. Jeanette at Jae-Geo's said I could wait 'till like the end of July and would get the dress in PLENTY of time.....I WON'T WAIT THAT LONG.

What do you say to this when you asked her to have it ordered over a month ago, and let me just mention that it has taken since last Oct for us to even find a dress that she would wear!!!

Same thing happened to me, except the MOH is my lazy little sister. I told her either order the dress by Saturday or you are out of the wedding. 1 day later it was ordered

There is also one person who is like this. I just made arrangements with her to go out to eat but instead got her fitted and she gave a 50 deposit which is the money she had on her for dinner... lol

If you know her approximate size, you could order the dress for her.

I would have ordered the dress for her a long time ago but she lives in a different state and needs to order where she is so that when it comes in she can get fitted.

i think the only motivation at this point is an ultimatum. just say look, you can't wait any longer or else it won't be here in time so either order it or you're out. you could also offer to do it for her if she can't.

Yea...But it's a little different when it's your sister!!!!

I don't think it is being unfair to give a deadline whether it is a sister or friend. She already had over a month to do it. I still say give her a deadline.

Let it go for 1 more week. Find out at the store the very latest it can be ordered. Then tell her they said it has to be done on _____ date but make it 2 weeks earlier than when they really said it. Tell her you know that ALOT of the time the dresses come in later than the shop say and you don't want that to happen to her. If by end of June she's not done it, don't flip out on her (that will make matters worse) just say 'listen I've asked you repeatedly to do it, I know you 'have time' and I know you 'have the money' that's not the point. I asked you to do it soon so that they can order it now so if there are any problems later on we have time to fix them.'

All it takes is 1/2 hour to get measured. Can't she take 1/2 hour of her precious time to do that?!?!?!?
