What would you wrap your huge 20 oz beer mug favors in?
Tulle? or Cellophane?
Something about Cellophane says cheap to me...it probably wouldn't matter if these mugs weren't so huuuuge. Cellophane is probably more cost effective.
And in the end, people chuck it anyway!
I originally wanted organza...and there were affordable organza bags, but none that fit these monsters! And I'm not about to buy yards of organza for this!

What if you just tied a ribbon around the handle? You can get those personalized ones for pretty cheap on Ebay.

Funny you should say that! That was the original plan! But we're filling the mugs with peanuts...and we wanted to have them loose rather than in a bag...hmmm maybe we should go back to that! I even bought really pretty sheer ribbon for the handles!

I think just packaging the peanuts and putting them in the mug w/ ribbon handle would be cute...

I agree. Bag the peanuts, maybe you can find pinstriped bags, and tie the ribbon around the top of the bag. I wouldn't bother with ribbon around the mug handle.

What about buying boxes at a discount store? I'm sure you can find bulk for cheap.

I agree. Bag the peanuts, maybe you can find pinstriped bags, and tie the ribbon around the top of the bag. I wouldn't bother with ribbon around the mug handle.
