What Yankees have you met?

Just for fun!

I went to the Yankees Fan Festival in 96, so i got to meet a few... Joe Girardi, Tino Martinez, David Cone, Joe Pepitone (who used to live around the block from me!) and my personal favorite, Jim Leyritz (who I actually met again last year at Roosevelt Field).

My sister went to the bar they hang out in while she was in school in Maryland and met a bunch! Derek Jeter, Jason Giambi and quite a few others...

Re: What Yankees have you met?

I haven't met ANY of the more recent Yankees

Back in the day (i'm showing my age here ) I met Bucky Dent, Dave Righetti, Rick Cerrone at autograph signings. ALL were THE GREATEST and total sweethearts

DH has a close colleague that is super best friends with Derek Jeter.. they've been friends for years. I was EXPECTING him to make a surprise appearnace at our wedding

But alas, it never panned out
