I went to to the fan festival in 96... met Leyritz, Girardi, Martinez and one of the 'scabs'... can't remember his name. Also got Cone's autograph from there, although I didn't meet him. That was the year Jeter started playing and his line was closed before he even came out!!
Met Jim Leyritz another time at the Hall of Heroes in Roosevelt Field.

YEARS and YEARS ago I met Bucky Dent, Dave Righetti and Rick Cerone . all at autograph signing events. They were all sweethearts, especially Rick Cerone

A co-worker of my FH knows Derek Jeter personally .. she grew up with him. I keep hoping and praying he shows up to my wedding as a surprise!! LOLOL
yeah right!!
I'm still waiting for that fateful day when I'll run into Tino somewhere ... But by then I'll be a married lady and not much I can do about it

I have a Mariano ball that he threw at us during batting practice in Baltimore... my mom has Bernies :) We tried to wait for them after the game in Phillie and they just breezed right by without a second look. It was almost rude!!
Joe Pepitone lives about 5 blocks away from me! When my cousin was little he went and knocked on his door and asked him for his autograph :) He was really nice about it

I saw Derek Jeter and Jorje Posada at a bar in the city about 5-6 years ago...and then at the same bar, on another occasion, I met Jeff Nelson and Graham Lloyd (who, are both no longer Yankees). I guess it was sort of a Yankee hangout.

When my sister went to college in MD she knew what bar they went to everytime the played the Orioles... She went once, met a few of them... got their autographs too!

Dorian's on the Upper East Side....it's on 82nd/81st & 2nd Ave. And actually, my friend and I were talking to Graham Lloyd, and he let us try on his World Series ring!!!! It was sooo cool...that ring was HEAVY!!

When I met Jim Leyrtiz he had his ring on and I could see how big it was... I don't think I could wear that all the time! Thats so cool that you got to try it on though!!!
