So my fh was on the phone with his brother/best man last night. His son who is 10 is our jr. groomsman and his daughter who is 8 is our flowergirl. He also has a 6 year old son who was not in the wedding b/c I thought it would be a lot to ask of the family to have all 3 kids in it.
Well his brother felt that his youngest son would feel left out and jelous of his siblings so my fh says well he can be in the wedding too. I am sure Jess can find a spot for him.
So I called my aunt who 2 of her 3 daughters is already in the wedding and asked if her if her youngest daughter who is the same age as my new ring bearer could be in the wedding. She said of course.
So now I have another flower girl and ring bearer. I don't mind but thats 2 more kids.

so you have two flower girls and two ringbearers? I do too. And two junior groomsmen. I wanted all my nieces and nephews involved. I think it's cute.

We have kids in our family who are too young - I'm hoping they don't push to have them in it. Personally I'd prefer the kids to be at least 3 years old. We do have two little flower girls though.
It will be fine though. My real issue is retaining all four of my bridesmaids, one is about to get engaged and the other is in school and freaking out. EEK!

something similar happened to us last weekend. my fsil who is in the wedding called to ask if her daughter could be in th wedding. I originally wanted her to be in the wedding but thought she was too young and too much money. so then we asked my brother's daughter to be in the wedding. so now we have all our nieces above the age of 3 in the wedding, which is 6 flowergirls. our ringbearer is 12! It is crazy. all these kids, but o so cute.

I think its better to have all the kids involved like they said the other boy would feel left out, I don't have any boys in the wedding but I have 2 jr bm's & 3 flowergirls and I could't imagine leaving any of them out! 4 of them are my nieces and the night just wouldn't be the same without them there

i think that's very sweet and gracious of you add more children to your BP. i'm sure the parents and the kids will appreciate it so much that no one is being left out.
