What's a good gift for a couple?

besides a restaurant gift cert? I need to give a friend some ideas and that's the only one I could think of!

what about everyday wine glasses? i know my SIL said they really needed the glasses without the stems (we tell each other what to get for christmas lol).

martini set, or any kind of bar accessories.

if it was bill and i receiving a gift... we'd want:

a netflix gift certificate.

a cool DVD in a basket with microwave popcorn and some cool soda bottles.

passes to putt putt golf/bowling something like that.

we already have a channa plaque - but it'd be a cool gift if you know the colors of their house's rooms.
