I used to do two things and they both worked wonders for me.
1. Ginger Ale and salt mixed
2. WATER and bread

It's different for everyone. I take two excedrine before bed with a gallon of water (well maybe not a gallon). But sounds like you need something realtime. I recommend gatorade or pedialyte..
