What's a Sat. like for you Moms?

Since I work all week long my Saturday morning begins with chores around the house like cleaning, changing linesn, etc. Then it is either off to get my manicure/pedicure (get them every other week) or my hair colored (every 8 to10 weeks) then food shopping for the week. Hopefully Saturday night is out to dinner with hubby or ordering in or more than likely cooking for either the two of us or my family if they are around.

Sundays I try to rest, but that doesn't always work out because my house is the gathering place for my whole family......so I usually end up cooking for everyone. I'm complaining because I really do love it.

You're really busy on Saturdays!!!!!!!!!!! I stopped going to the hair stylist on Sat. I've been doing my own hair, rolling it in old fashioned curlers! One Sat. I went to the grocery store like that, and a young gal took one look, and had a big grin on her face!! I told her, ' That's ok, I know it looks silly, but I need to save some money right now, and she agreed, saying she would do it too!!!!!' The best part is I have soft hair again, not the lacquered look, and to my surprise I'm getting compliments!!!
This Sat. Grandson will be coming for his overnight, because our other Daughter, Donna, has her 'FSIL' Bachelorette Party. Yesterday was the shower. Donna is a BM. The wedding is Nov. 10th, and is red, white, and blue. Sat. is usually a catch up day for me too, with laundry, etc. Mary

When I go to the hair salon it is for color...have to get those roots touched up. My hairdresser usually likes to straighten my which I'm not crazy about because my hair is naturally curly/wavy, but is easier to just let him straighten it because he is gay and you cannot argue with them.

Yes I am busy because I work all week and that's the only time I have to clean, shop etc. One day I'll be able to retire and then do it during the week and have Saturday to myself.

Ugh....you ladies are lucky to have Saturday off. I work on Saturday but my husband and I usually go out to dinner on sat. nt. so that is good. My day off is Monday, which is kinda nice because everyone else is working and I get to do things on my schedule!!

I'm home, but my husband works the majority of Saturdays. I like that because I can get everything done that I want done without him hanging around me and looking for attention

I worked in retail for the majority of my working years until my boss retired in Jan. 2005 (I was in the buying office so I still didn't work Saturdays). I thought I was staying since his son's were still running the business, but then investors came in, took over and brought in their own people. Therefore, I went, buyers & merchandise managers went, even the CFO and the sons. It was very sad we were all like family. By the way I worked in the buying office of G+G Retail for the owner/CEO/Chairman. I'm sure you G+G they were in all the malls and were also known as Rave. Being in real estate development is new, but still interesting.
