Did she attend a shower for you? If so then I would suggest spending a comparable amount. Otherwise my personal policy - $75 - $100 for showers.

If she is a work friend and you aren't that close I would say $50.

A work friend whose real shower you are attending (so you are invited to the wedding)? I'd say $50-100.

If it's just a work shower, up to $50.

I used to spend about $100 for showers that I attended and $50 for showers that I did not attend.

But, after having my own shower last month, I think that I have been spending too much.

So, from now on, I'll be spending $50-$70 on showers that I attend and $25 for showers that I do not attend.

After my sister's shower, I too decided I spend to much. I think in general people spend an average of $40 on a shower gift.

Depends on how well you get along w/ the person and if you are invited to the wedding. I get along really well and am close with most of the people I work with so I would probably spend aboutg $100-$150

I would spend $50-$75 for a work friend. I usually spend a lot more for close friends.
