what's an average number of ...

guests at a shower??

those who have already had showers --->

how many attended?

how many attended in relation to how many were invited?

i don't know how many were invited, but there were about 30 people there...

and I got a TON of goodies! Had to use three cars to get them all home

I think it's all according to how many guest you are inviting to the wedding. If youre having about 200 wedding guests, I would assume you would have about 50-60 guests at the shower. If you are having a smaller wedding, about 120 guest, then about 30-35 at the shower.

ok good...i am having fears that noone will come...and i won't get any gifts even though alllooot of people were invited...

Also, I had a lot of OOT family who I knew would not come so accounted for the No's.

Both tables behind me were piled high with gifts. I was stunned! It totally packed my Chreokee to the gills (I think I was sitting on some stuff!) and I didn't get any BIG things (like luggage or a vacuum, etc).

It was a blast - I've got the biggest smile just looking back at my pictures!

I agree with this. Both my cousins had weddings in the 200 guest range, and so their showers had about 50 - 60 people. I've been to smaller weddings where there are about 35 - 40 people at the shower.

guess that would be the average then! Seems like it!

i was just trying to get a feel for what some real girls had at their showers!!

We're having about 200 people at the wedding, and I believe about 75 were invited to my shower. I know my sister mentioned that some people RSVPed 'no' because they're going to be away. They'll probably be somewhere around 60 or so.
