Did you order your dress then have TREMENDOUS doubt you bought the wrong one, go back and try on others, then wind up getting another???? I ordered mine a month ago, and I'm driving myself and FH crazy with doubts about it. I'm going back this week with BF, who is my MOH, and my shopping partner, so she can help me. She and I are the shopping queens, and never shop without the other, it just isn't the same. So taking her will really help me. She has only seen me in my dress in pictures, not on me in person. I'll try it on, take more pics, and try on others I really like to see what she thinks. Once you order a dress, is it too late to cancel it, even if it's just been a month?? If so, I can always sell mine once it comes in if I choose not to use it. I don't know why I'm having doubts. I sometimes feel I was pressured into just making a decision, because we had been to so many places and everyone was tired of looking, so I just picked. However, it's a GORGEOUS dress, looks flattering on, I just see other dresses and wish I would have waited a little more. HELP!!!! I'm going nuts over this!!!! If you want to see the dress, or me in it, let me know and I'll post it.

Re: What's been your experience???? HELP!!!
Sometimes it's actually better to go shopping by yourslef so you can see what YOU think of the dress...you end up getting swayed in different directions depending on what different people say...when i tried dresses on I'd e-mail the pics to all my friends...and then depending on their reactions i'd notice my mind changing...take a look at yourself in the dress or stare at a picture of yourself in it and see how you feel...don't worry about what other people think....if you love it then that will shine thru! After buying my dress i had a few doubts..until i went back & tried it on to get picks...and as soon as I unzipped the bag & saw it i knew why i bought it...HTH!!!

I totally agree!!!! My FH is trying to break me out of depending on other's opinions. I've gotten SO much better with it, but I still struggle A LOT with it. That's why I'm bringing my BF, because she and I are the type of best friends that just knows what the other is thinking, and can be truthfully honest and not hurt the other's feelings. I truly trust her judgement and know she has me in mind when she tells me, because we know each other so well. What I'm trying to say is, I'm not basing it on HER decision, I just know that SHE will know when I love it!! Hopefully it will work!! LOL Everyone that I brought said the same thing, 'YOU have to love it. If YOU don't love it, then it's not the one.' I LOVED the dress, I just think I might have made the decision too quickly cause everyone was tired of looking. I feel I should have maybe waited a few weeks and sat on it. OH WELL, we'll see what happens this week! Thanks for posting, guess I'm the only one going through this!! Maybe I'll get more replies tomorrow when more people are on.

Re: What's been your experience???? HELP!!!
I totally understand. I tried on several hundred dresses; could not make up my mind.........almost ordered one, cancelled, another, cancelled.....absolutely could not make up my mind. There were things I loved about all of them. I ended up going to a dress maker in SoHo who is making me one custom that has a couple of details from all of them :)
Its rediculous. Regardless, you're going to be a magnificent bride!
When you order, try and remember what you loved about it the first time you had it on, and how you felt.

Re: What's been your experience???? HELP!!!
I did this. There were a couple of girls here that were getting and planning their weddng. Their dresses were so fancy...I had thought about getting another one but every time I looked at myself in the dress I had bought, I fell in love with it all over again!

Re: What's been your experience???? HELP!!!
I understand the doubts. I tried on close to 30 dresses and ordered the one I loved the most even though my mom liked a similar dress more. Then four months after ordering, I got this crazy idea that I could buy the dress my mom liked on ebay and cut the bottom half of the dress (which I loved) and have the seamstress add it to the dress I ordered. My mom told me that I was crazy and it couldn't be done. I started looking at my dress again online, convinced myself I made the right decision, and fell back in love with it.
Buying your dress is a huge decision, especially b/c you feel like there's no turning back after you've placed your deposit. But I would look at the dress you ordered again, maybe try it on again in front of your best friend, and then decide if you want to look at some other dresses. As you said, worse comes to worse, you can always sell one dress and wear the one you love. But don't worry, doubts are completely normal. Make sure you wear the dress you love.

Re: What's been your experience???? HELP!!!
I ordered the first dress I tried on, when I put it on I started crying my eyes out!! I then tried on a few others but did not get that effect, so I knew it was 'the one'. My mom picked it out, she was like 'here try this one on' I didn't think it was what I wanted but as soon as I saw myself I lost it. So after it was ordered and I got on here and started seeing everyone else's dresses I started to think maybe I should have waited, but when mine came in and I tried it on I knew that it was perfect and I am so happy with my choice!! So I think it is natural to second guess yourself because it is such a huge decision!!

I know exactly how you feel. I ordered my dress last week and after I started second guessing myself and had sooo many doubts. I was driving my FH and mom crazy by freaking out about it. I was worried that maybe I had made the wrong decision. I had been looking for a dress for a long time too and felt like others including myself were just tired of looking. The first time I tried on the dress I loved it and then when I went back 2 months later to try it on again I still liked it. So I ordered and then when I walked out the door I went into a panic. I took pics so for days I stared at the pics. I went back just this saturday to look at it again. When I saw it again I smiled so now I feel a lot better about it. I think I just panicked b/c it was such a big decision and I felt like I couldn't turn back once I ordered it. Best of luck!

You are DEFINITELY not the only one going through this! I think a lot of people do!!! I actually wound up buying a second dress and eating the deposit on the first one because I too rushed into it a bit, and had that same, tired of looking feeling. When I started having serious doubts, I went back and tried it on again and then left it alone for a few days. I couldnt stop thinking about it or how I wanted a different style, so in the end I decided to go and look again and ended up switching. The women in the salon where I bought my second dress said she gets someone like me once a week, so defintely don't feel alone!

THANK YOU SOOOO Much for the replies!!!!!! You have no idea how good it makes me feel to know there are others out there! It's nice to know I haven't lost my mind completely!!! It really helps when others go through what you do and you can relate. I truly appreciate everyone's replies. I will let you know what I've decided, hopefully by the end of this week. I'll go with my best friend and we'll see what happens. Thanks again!!!!!!!

Re: What's been your experience???? HELP!!!
I have had doubts about my dress but I know I made the right choice. I look a pics of other dresses and I;m like WOW I like that one. But I knwo my dress looks good on and these other dresses look good on the models but I am far from a model. So at the end of the day I knwo I made the right decision. My sister ordered 2 dresses for her wedding. She lost the deposit but loved her new dress. Good luck
