Im having a buffet bc its whats in our price range, otherwise we woulda done a sit-down...

Butttt buffet may be better in that there can be more interaction between tables since you actually have to leave your table... and i see it as something the guests get to do instead of just sittin for 4 hours n watchin you open gifts

I say buffet style because I have been to both and for some reason i always had more fun at the buffet style ones. Dont get me wrong, sit down is always nice as well.

I say buffet... sit down is very restricting for a bridal shower. JMO.

its rare when you get to mingle at a sit-down shower... look at the 09 shower... no1 got up from their tables once they were seated

weddings I rather sit down but bridal shower I would rather a buffet, get up and move around a little

While I prefer a sit down in general, for a shower, I think I like a buffett. I know when I'm a guest, I get bored sitting there for too long.

I can admit that while I can't wait for my own shower, really it gets old always being a guest at them. I mean, unless it's your own, how many place settings and towels can you ooh and ahh at?

I think sit down is nicer. People aren't fighting to get food. You can just relax and be served.

to me it depends on the size of the room..either is nice but if you do buffet and the room is too small it gets real annoying. I'd rather just stay in my seat. I always feel stuffed in a room for a shower.

i think that buffet is better. that way it encourages people to get up. when you have two families getting together its nice to have people up and moving around.
