I'm a little torn between a jeweled comb or feather-since my dress has a giant bow in the front I'm afraid I'll go overboard even though I prefer the feathers. hmnn...I'm gonna wait till the summer for this one, till I'm closer to my fittings. Plus my veil is going to be blush so it makes it a bit more confusing.
So I'm curious to know what everyone's doing?

They don't make headbands large enough for my monsterhead. I'm trying to take attention away from my head, so bedazzling it may not help. I like a comb or a piece of jewelry, maybe. I think a flower would just add to my head mass. And I don't even know what feathers are all about. I haven't seen that before, and fear I would be mistaken for a large-game bird if I were to marry in-season and wear feathers.
I think the look below would be perhaps the most flattering possible. It would cover my billboard sized forehead, and my ears. I think it's simple, elegant, and classic. If anyone knows where I could find it, I'd appreciate it. Barron's said they're all sold out.
i had the woman at the wedding salon in manhasset (i think her name was Dina)make them for me to match my dress! they are three little combs that look like lace! they are so pretty!

AMAZING STUFF!!! I'm so torn on what to do with my hair...I want it back in a chignon type bun, but can't figure out what to out on the side. My dress has a huge bow too, and mine is bright purple, so I don't want to do a lot of gems. I don't like feathers. ACK! I don't know if I should have my florist give me some real flowers in the bright purple, or if I should buy a fabric flower in an ivory color...Also Jennifer Behr only shows champagne as the color, I wonder how dark it is...

Did you see the headbands that come in the smoke color? Go into the regular collection and you will see. I'm seriously considering getting the headband darker, but that decision will be WAY later.

I have a very simple head band and I have a mantilla (sp) veil I was against any type of head piece but than when I tried it on with the veil and the dress I couldn't resist!

I think this thread just helped me decide that I'm just going to do a comb... all along I was picturing a tiara but now I think it might be too much for me!
