I am going home..>FH has to work that whole week....and on Easter Sunday...he is Jewish too, so tis not a big deal to him AT ALL...
We go to Grandmas every year for a Polish Brunch...including pierogies and kielbasa! YUMMY!

Usually we go to MIL's house for a nice big Puerto Rican meal, but this year we were all invited to my Great Aunts house. I was kinda bummed because I wanted my MIL's pernil (pork roast), but she promised to make it for me the Saturday before

Thanks Holly, I would go home but has anyone checked out the gas prices lately? Let me just say that they keep saying on the news CA is the highest in the nation and they are right, It is $2.20 for reg here!!!

Since I moved here from TX and my familystill lives there in TX, my DH and I have made it a tradition to go into Manhattan and go to St. Patrick's Mass and then the parade and then we picnic at Central Park. My DH is Jewish but he always goes out of his way to make sure I have a nice Easter since my family is so far away.

I am actually off for one holiday this year!! Being one of the newer staff members, having a holiday off is a luxury.
So we are having our usual italian family get together of 20 people, and eat until I want to puke!
