I am SO avoiding work today. I feel like Buddy the Elf with all these holiday-related posts lately.
Anyway, what's everyone doing on Thanksgiving?
FH's parents are at hajj right now (Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca) so originally it was just going to be FH, FBIL and myself, just hanging out and maybe going to a restaurant. But my uncle called me on Friday night and invited us over to his place in Lynbrook so we'll be there. It'll be good to celebrate with family!

Going to my Aunts in Sayville. I cant wait I havent seen my cousins baby girl since Sept and she is getting so big.

my mom is refusing to cook for the 3rd straight year so we're going to the crossroads in calverton for t-day
yeah, my mom didn't want to cook either and i offered to, but my sister declined my offer (ok ok, i'm not an AMAZING cook......) so yea we're going to some place in the city i've never heard of.

we are spending the night before (thanskgiving eve) in the city with my sis, BIL, his brother and his gf.....staying at the W in times square for the night, going to see them inflate the balloons at night, going to a nice restaurant, then waking up, catching some of the parade and then going back to FH's house for an early lunch (usually 1) and thennnn driving with FH to my aunts house on LI for her 4:00 lunch!!!!!

Nothing at all FH has to work that day... and on christmas also... on top of that my parents just left to PR for 2 weeks... So im on the lonely train....

dinner with my family @ my aunts house dessert with his family @ his uncles
that is how we split every holiday... dinner with one family & dessert with the other
