I book my Church, RH, Photo/Video/limos (but I work for a limo company) and tonight I am meeting with my 1st dj company. O nce we have all the big vendors booked I think we are going to take some time to enjoy our engagment (just not too much time lol) Good Luck

Church, photo, and DJ are the next 3 on our list - we've taken a bit of time off from planning to enjoy ski season, so we'll get back on things later this week.

We dont have much accomplished. We have the church and RH booked. I'm hoping to schedule with Duet and go to a local florist this w/e. I feel like i'm so behind!!

I have church dj rh photo / video / limos - working on florist. I think were going with brians and I need invitations but they are apparently wayyyyyyyyyyyyy more expensive than I expected :(

FH and I are going tonight to booked the DJ after having to cancel the appt. 3x! So that will be done tonight.
I have been talking with my DOC regarding flowers and I've pretty much finalized my choices for everything and I emailed Gina for another quote which I was happy with. I am going to wait until after May to book the florist though because I have a lot of events coming up in the next few months. If anything I may just put down a very small deposit to hold the date and then in May really sit down with her and work out what we want to do and maybe see sample centerpieces and bouquets.
As I stated the other day, I have found my dress and now it's a matter of who is going to give me the best price. I also am going to try and find a day in May where my my mom, grandmas, BP and FMIL can all get together so I can show them the dress and then order.
Ordered a few more invitation samples that I am waiting to get in the mail (they should be coming soon).

Now that we have all the big vendors booked, we are focusing on the little things. We are waiting to get our pics back from the photog so we can start making our STD's. Once we get those, we'll start contacting our friends for their addresses and focus on finishing up our registries before we send out the STD's in April. That's where we are right now.

We haven't even officailly booked our hall yet; but i'm pretty sure we'll be puttind a deposit down soon.
After that we have an appt with a DJ but that's not until April!

Almost done with the Big Six: Church, Hall, Photographer, DJ, Florist, Limos.
Church, Hall, Photographer, and DJ are done. I have a meeting with my DJ and MC next week! So excited!
Next, on to the Limos and Florist. Have appointments lined up in March for two Limo companies and two Florists. Whats hard about this is that we knew what church from the beginning, we only visited 5 halls before booking, and we knew exactly what photog and DJ we wanted, so those were no brainers. But with flowers and limo....I just don't know! Anyway, can't wait to get those last two out of the way, so everything that needs to be booked will be BOOKED!!
And then on to the fun, creative stuff like looking at dresses and invitations.

RH and photog are booked. Now we are looking for video and DJ (focusing on video 1st). This May we are taking our engagement photos and then making STDs with them, and as we get feedback on who needs a hotel we can book our hotel room and reserve a block. Also this May I want to visit the RH again and take a look at what it looks like that time of year and start to finalize my colors! Once I pick a dress, I'll pick BM dresses and then the florist! Limos will prob be the last vendor I book since we still aren't sure what our needs for one are! If we get one at all! (our ceremony is at the same place as the reception and the hotel is 10min away, we could prob find some sort of inexpensive alternative, but we will see!) And after all the big stuff is the details! There will always be details! And I think all the vendors don't want to hear about the details until it's quite close.

were booking the photographer and video now..well trying too... we've only booked the RH, church, Band and florist... i feel like we have so much to do ahh!!! so photo and video next for us and limo i guess those are the major vendors and prob lots of other stuff that i am forgetting!

Next big vendor is photographer. We are going to be setting up appointments in the next few weeks. We will be taking engagement photos soon with someone who offered to do them for free.
Once we get those back, we'll be sending out Save The Date's since our wedding is on a Thursday and people might have to take off from work.
I put FH in charge of finding a DJ. So, I'm not going to worry about that.
No limos for us, no video either.
We'll start looking at florists probably in May or later.

We have our venue (and ceremony location), photographer, video, band, lighting, and just booked rabbi. Soon we'll work on STDs, flowers, invitations.. and then this summer I'll do everything else since I'm a teacher and am off.

We booked Church, RH, Photo/Video, Florist, Band, ordered wedding gown, blocked off hotel rooms for OOT guests, and ordered our STDs and Hotel Info cards.
Not sure what we will do next, but we'll probably take a little break from planning.
