It's St. Patrick's day what is everyone doing for dinner? It's hard to do when I'm trying to not be a heifer! lol! I am making a healthier version of shepards pie with turkey meat lots of veggies and sweet potatoes! And of course we will have to have a guiness lol! What about you ladies?

Re: What's for dinner?
Tonight we're having just a regular dinner...homemade sauce with turkey meatballs/sausage. But Saturday night my sister is having her annual St. Patty's Day dinner and that's when I'll get the real Irish meal!!!

Re: What's for dinner?
I hope not anything Irish lol. I hate corned beef and cabbage. But my mom rarely, if ever, cooks a homemade meal, so I think I'm safe.

Re: What's for dinner?
I am not sure yet... I am defrosting some chicken breast but I am tempted to make corned beef and cabbage! The only thing that s ucks is it takes like 2 1/2 hours to make and I don't get home until after 6!! I might just wait until the weekend to make it.

My mom who is 100% Italian - growing up I never knew that people ate corned beef and cabbage on St. Patrick's Day - it was always lasagne day!
I don't think my Irish dad cared - to this day he hates cornbeef and cabbage!
