can't go wrong with make-up, clothes, (anything that saying princess on it) costume jewelry, little pocketbooks, books, magazine subscriptions, music, gift certificates to movies...

What about a Guess handbag?? Alot of the teenage girls, well the ones in my family, like anything with a namebrand on it.

I usually just give them a gift certificate to the mall or money. So they can do what they want with it. Atleast at that age that is all I wanted.

I got Bratz for one of his younger nieces, so I don't think that'll work.
Yeah, everyone is telling me girls today are into DESIGNER NAME stuff ... I just don't know if she's a purse kinda gal.

Thats a great Idea. You can get a simon certificate which can be used at any simon mall. Roosevelt field Smithhaven the source and I think the Palisades upstate.

Now the Simon Gift Certificates are like little Visa cards that can be used anywhere that takes a Visa.

That I don't like. For some reason I am not crazy about giving a young person something similar to a credit card.

Latina the Gift Cards are like credit cards but a gift certificate is still the same old paper certificate.

LOL!!! I love the SIMON gift certificates!!! FH still gives me those from time to time and I resort to being a teenager again; roaming the mall!!! I think that's a great idea!!

My little sister is 13
I got her a pair of Bongo jeans with a little flair to them with came with matching pink boyshorts. There's pink stitching in the jeans- super cute- they were $25
Then I got her a cute black & pink pocketbook with her initial 'k' on it.. $15.00
went to Sephora and got her a sephora girls kit w/ make up case, mirror, lip gloss and eye shadow. $25

OH Ok....lol. I usually go there to get Gift certificates but they usually give me the gift card. I guess they do that to charge you that extra $1.50...lol.
