What's in YOUR wallet?

More accurately, what's in your pocketbook?

DH was helping me take stuff out to the car this morning and when he picked up my pocketbook he said, 'What do you have in here? This thing weighs a ton!'

I told him I need 90% of the items in my pocketbook on a daily basis. He said if I don't lighten it up, my shoulders are going to be uneven from the weight.

I bet him that you ladies have more in your pocketbooks than mine. So how bout it, here's mine:

Wallet - credit cards, license, kid pics, business cards, membership cards, state quarters that I'm collecting, about 3.00 in change, 20.00 in bills, some Bermudian money from the honeymoon, bank & cc receipts.

Small zipper compartment - dental floss, compact w/powder and mirror, breath mints, tweezer, hair clips, asthma inhaler, advil, chapstick, small deoderant

Pouches - cellphone, eyeglass cleaning swatch, perfume, work keys, extra car key, security token for work,

The rest - hairbrush, checkbook, car keys, hair band.



It sounds like a lot but it really isn't!

I have a pen, adress book, check book, wallet, cell phone, and dental floss. I'm sad!

Zipper: lipstick, funeral card, check book

main: Wallet (no cash, check card, credit card, gym card), ciggarettes, lighter, cell phone.

I am a minimalist with my pocketbook.

Funny you started the thread. FH always ask me about the weight of my bag as well. I have a small messenger Fossil bag that I can comfortably fit a magazine into, and more...

1. wallet (1 lb.)
2. keys w/ small swiss army knife attached
3. receipts/coupons
4. unread mail/bills
5. floss
6. bus/train pass
7. kleenex tissue pack
8. pen
9. magazine/book (to prevent commuting boredom)

That's it! I do use the stuff alot! And they come in handy. :)

This is funny:

I have:
CVS toddler Wipes (because they are GREAT) in a ziploc bag
my HUGE wallet
a TON of change about $5.00 worth
make up bag (medium size)

hand cream
lipgloss
keys
cellphone

To think I want to add Purell also because I HATE touching things on the trains in NYC!

It's a pretty small bag (think small hobo shoulder bag - nine west)

Wallet: Checkbook, cash, coin, credit cards, membership cards, pictures, receipts (don't ask), post it (little reminders), id cards.

Purse in general: 2 cell phones, bluetooth earpiece, PSP, PDA, digital Camera (today - i have an expo), Purell, lotion, feminine emergency products, BC pills, 2 sets of keys (i always leave one somewhere), more receipts, work id cars, pens, old mapquest directions and a mini notebook.

And yes, it heavy enough to be a weapon.

I have a pretty big bag for work

My wallet with checkbook in it and all my cards, license, PBA cards for when i decide to speed... My cell phone, pictures of family, FH and dog, my keys and sunglasses, a hair clip, right now a thank you note i need to give to my boss, a coach wristlet with all the extra cards i don't want in my wallet, a ton of tampons and pads lol in the 'zipper part', my birth control haha (i'm being honest here), my ipod, rosary beads and a little tiffany pouch with my earrings in it-- i take it with my b/c i rush in the mornings to get out the door with the idea that i'm going to put them on during the day at some point, but i never do and then i wonder why all my jewelry gets lost!

If the wallet is too heavy--maybe some of you ladies are carrying too much loose change--that can weigh a ton. UNLIKE ME....I am always broke due to this wedding so I pay for a lot of stuff with my change Sad but true.
