whats my problem?

we booked the engagement party, so now i've got to start getting invites (bc i was told the ones we got arent good enough) and planning for that. why am i not excited to do this? does this mean i wont be excited to plan my own wedding? ugh, whats wrong with me?

when is the engagement party? maybe you just arent looking forward to the little tedious things....i'm sure once you get going you'll become a wedding nut lik ethe rest of us.

i was obsessed for the first month and then i calmed down a lot. i know i'll go back to being obsessed again though

As it gets closer, I am sure you will start to get excited. I know I was super super excited, and now we dont have much left to do, and its.... ok, what do I do for the next year and half, and my excitement level dropped.

As we get closer and start finalizing everything I am sure the excitement will kick in.


(plus, getting all the gifts is pretty exciting!!)

I think sometimes the tedious things can get a little annoying.

I know for my wedding I was excited looking at RHs and I can't wait to look at dresses. But right now I have no energy to go making appointments and looking at all the other vendors. Its just so time consuming.

I think you'll get more excited once it gets closer!

sept 6th. i know i should be super excited but idk, i am but not enough i guess.

i was the same way for my engagement party...once people had things to say about what i wanted I got upset and didnt even want to have a party anymore...but i stuck by my guns and said forget what other people want, this is my party and I will do it my way...I caved in on the location and I hated where we had it but I made the best of everything else by splurging on food and other things like that...

Do you invitations the way you want, your gut instinct on things like that is always the right thing....and if people sart calling you a bridezilla for standing up for what you want that will make you happy then so be it...let them talk.

Once you stop caring what people say/think/do about the things you want, and just do what makes you happy you will get excited again.

im sure their will be things that you will hate doing .. and then their will be those you loveeeeee
