Up next for us is DJ and/or florist. I have an appointment with a florist coming up in July, and we need to start checking out DJs, but we really cant afford the deposits right now

I wish we could get them out of the way, then we sit back and wait for 18 months, but until we get more money coming in we will have to wait. I realized that between the RH and Photo/video we have 5k to pay out next year for installments.
For those of you who have DJs, who did you go with? We have heard FM entertainment a lot, but FH was not thrilled with them at TWOTY, I liked them, but I also like LI Sound.
Any recommendations?

hopefully photographer, then dj. FH already knows the dj he wants, which is fine, but all the photographers we've emailed arent booking 2010 till next year, and its driving me crazy! ![]()

The florist is next for me. I think its gonna be the hardest, too. I knew 100% what RH I wanted, what photographer I wanted but the florist is gonna be hard because I have soooo many ideas and not a whole lotta $$$$ ![]()

hmm this is a good question. Like i said yesterday, I tend to do things backwards. I'm so focused on the little details right now that I haven't booked any other big expense other than RH. I do have ideas though on who I would like to book for vendors for photo and video. I know booking the dj will be a very hard decision. And as far as flowers, i've given no thought to it because the only flowers i will need are for bo-k, boutineer (spelled wrong), coursages, and lots of rose petals. My centerpieces don't involve flowers so i won't have a huge florist bill.
Next stop on my wedding planning train: either forever stamps or the vases and lampshades for my CP's (see how backwards I am!!!)

angelica glass and we have our heart set on something in blue, but they'll be in europe next year, so they cant give me any info for 2010

TWOTY is the wedding of the year, it something that LIW puts on, its a mock wedding where they choose a couple that has already gotten married and they pretty much get to have another wedding with a bp made up of all LIW members. LIW has all of their vendors provide different things for it and they do lots of raffles where you can win all kinds of great prizes

booked my hall, church, dj, and photog so far... i plan on the florist next, but not for a while, the fall or winter at least. i just don't want to bother right now lol plus yeah the deposits are killing me!

This seems like an awesome thing I would like to go to. I love raffles, and vendor showcases. Thanks for all the info everyone I'll look for those tickets around Sept/Oct.
